The AI reads your website and asks a few questions: what the agent is for, which languages it should answer in, which contact details it should collect, and when a person should take over. Then it builds the agent and tests it before handing it back.

Why this builds an agent, not just a chatbot
What you get answers your customers from your own website and documents, collects the contact details you chose and hands the conversation to a person at the point you set, on your website, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Telegram. A chatbot answers and stops there.
What separates a chatbot from an agentQuestions about connecting
Do I need to copy an API key or a token?
No. When Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code connects, it opens an AgentDeck page where you sign in and choose Allow. Codex signs in the same way. Personal tokens exist only for your own scripts.
Do I need an AgentDeck account first?
Yes. For now we set accounts up ourselves: write to info@agentdeck.eu. When you connect, you sign in with it and choose Allow.
Which Claude or ChatGPT plan do I need?
It depends on the plan. In ChatGPT the connector needs Developer mode, and whether you have it depends on your plan. On Claude Team or Enterprise, an owner may need to add the connector before others can use it.
Which AI model works best?
Works best with Claude Opus 5.5 on medium thinking, or ChatGPT with GPT-6.1 sol.
Is AgentDeck in the Claude or ChatGPT app directory?
Not yet. Listing in both directories is coming. Until then, add it as a custom connector with the address https://api.agentdeck.eu/mcp.
What does the AI ask me while it builds the agent?
A few questions: what the agent is for, which languages it should answer in, which contact details it should collect, and when a person should take over. The rest it reads from your website.
Can I try the agent before it goes on my website?
Yes. The AI tests the agent and gives you a preview link, so you can talk to it yourself before you paste the snippet into your site.
Where do I connect Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Telegram?
In the client hub at client-hub.agentdeck.eu. Channels, conversations and leads are managed there, not in the chat with Claude or ChatGPT.
Should I use the plugin or the connector?
Use the connector for ChatGPT, or for Claude when you only want AgentDeck in your chats: you add one address. Use the plugin in Claude (web and desktop, paid plans), Claude Code or Codex for ready-made commands; in Claude Code and Codex it also keeps a copy of every agent on your computer. In one app, use one or the other, not both.
